Match report The toss was won by Welshpool, who decided to field first. Allscott batted steadily throughout on a slow pitch,scoring 209 for 8 in their 50 overs. Chris Dean with 29, Rich Williams 38, Tim Clare 21 and Lee Pickford 32 all batted well, but the highlight was a fine 48 not out from Nic(bad back)Gittens. Young T.Anderson for Welshpool took 4 for 37 in his 8 overs.
Welshpool never really got going in their innings and wickets fell steadily throughout, and their was some spirited batting late on from L.Monk(27) and S.Monk(30) but were all out in 31st over. Ian Davy was the pick of the bowlers with 4 for 20 off his 9 overs.
